📅July 20, 2026⏱️3 min read✍️Big Island Bulletin

Feel the Week

Big Island scene

Plumeria on the breeze, red dirt on your slippers, and that soft hum of pau hana chatter. Ever strummed a ʻukulele with new friends, then slid right into a free jam under the palms? That’s the vibe Monday brings with Ukulele Lessons & Participatory Jam in Pāhoa.

By late afternoon, hips sway and smiles widen. Hula feet find their rhythm at Hula ʻOla – Weekly Hula at Hawaiian Sanctuary. And as the stars show up, Hilo lights blink on for music, ʻawa, and talk story.

Don’t‑Miss Highlights

Start your Monday sweet and simple: learn a few chords with Allowah Lani at Ukulele Lessons & Participatory Jam. Lessons are just $10 from 2:00–3:30 PM, and that second‑half group jam is totally free. You’ll leave humming.

Ready to feel grounded and connected? Move with aloha at Hula ʻOla – Weekly Hula at Hawaiian Sanctuary from 4:00–5:30 PM. Kumu Tia keeps it welcoming, all levels, and only $10. Your whole body will say mahalo.

When the evening light softens in Hilo, slide into Much Love Monday at The Booch Bar. Live music, ʻawa, and big community vibes, 6–9 PM, $5–$20. It’s the kind of night where you meet someone who becomes an instant friend.
